Dr. Senn is named Royal Society of Canada (RSC) Fellow, Academy of Social Sciences 2022
The Royal Society of Canada elects Fellows and Members after rigorous evaluation and review of their accomplishments. Fellows have been elected by their peers for their outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. Dr. Senn receives the Nursing Network on Violence against Women International (NNVAWI) Award for Excellence in Practice and Policy 2022
The NNVAWI Board of Directors award for Excellence in Practice and Policy honours excellence among its members annually. Dr. Senn and Co-Authors Receive Georgia Babladelis Best PWQ Paper Award 2018
The Georgia Babladelis Paper Award recognizes the best paper published in Psychology of Women Quarterly as selected each year by PWQ’s Editorial Board from the pool of all accepted, unpublished papers. Dr. Charlene Senn, 1st Author of “Secondary and two-year outcomes of a sexual assault resistance program for university women”, received a plaque at the 2018 American Psychological Association (Division 35) conference along with a $1,000 honorarium on behalf of her co-authors.
